GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
The Office Coordinator provides administrative assistance to the Offices of Academic Advising and New Student and Family Programs.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED: N/A
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Director of New Student and Family Programs
EXAMPLES OF SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Regular use of Microsoft Office Suite;
Managing department budgets and purchasing using University and Commonwealth procedures;
Merging and mailing letters;
Use of university record keeping system; and
Other duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Office environment, some errands walking on campus
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to be trained on university technology platforms;
Database management experience;
Able to work flexible hours during special events in May, June and August
This is a part-time non-benefited, contract position, not to exceed 18 hours per week. The scheduled hours are Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with flexible hours for orientation events. The pay rate is $21 per hour.
