Marketing and Events Assistant
The Universal College of Learning is a government-funded Institute of Technology, with four campuses in Manawatu, Whanganui, Wairarapa and Horowhenua. It meets the needs of local communities and industry by providing tertiary level training to over 6,000 students each year through a wide range of programmes from entry level certificates and foundation courses to diplomas, degrees and opportunities in post graduate study.
Reporting directly to the Brand and Conversion Manager, UCOL are on the hunt for a Marketing and Events Assistant to join our team on a permanent part time (20 hours per week) basis. We are looking for a super multitasker who can help us keep all our events, ideas, marketing, admin needs and activity going so we can make sure that the UCOL brand is highly viable throughout the year.
You will preferably have a marketing, advertising or communication experience. As we’re a small team, we will expect you to be well organised and able to work often with minimal supervision. You will have good attention to detail, be inquiring and imaginative, and you will use your initiative, and be a positive and bright member of the team.
