We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Cardiology team. This is a Part Time position, working 32 hours per fortnight, based at The Royal Melbourne Hospital.
Your new team:
Ward 2 South East consists of a pre-admission clinic for cardiology and cardio-thoracic patients as well as a cardiology day ward (12 beds), where elective patients come for a variety of procedures including EPS/RFA, angiogram, PCI, PPM, ICD, generator replacements, TOE, TOE/DCR, Ajmaline & Adrenaline challenges. The ward also prepare cardio-thoracic patients the week prior or day of surgery. There is a strong collaborative approach across the Cardiac Service Division with a team based approach to delivering patient care.
Assist clinicians with patient preparation and positioning for procedures
Provide safe patient transport
Sterilising medical equipment for cardiac procedures
Assist clinical staff in the provision of patient care and support service.
Must hold Certificate 3 in Health (Patient Services)
Sound knowledge of hospital emergency and interdepartmental policy and procedures that relate to the role
Maintain a courteous, and helpful approach when dealing with staff, patients and visitors
