Responsibilities

Define and execute the sustainable investment product strategy and roadmap for the Australian and New Zealand markets; work with external and internal stakeholders to understand market needs and continue to drive innovation.
Represent the business in its client and market engagement activities and through industry platforms; Act as a key regional spokesman on Sustainable Investment products, services and wider activities (inc. market/issuer engagement; public policy)
Design and deliver high quality presentations at key conferences and events in the region
Lead on key client engagements and work in partnership with Asset Owners, Pension Funds and other investor segments in Australia to develop a product range which meets the needs of investors in Australia.
Collaborate across the group with colleagues in Research, Data Management, Development and Governance to define product requirements and deliver new products and/or enhancements, ensuring the relevance and fit for the specifics of Australian asset owners and investors
Manage the product lifecycle, including the execution of go-to-market plans (revenue goals, product positioning, competitive analysis, target segments, use cases, marketing materials, sales training)
Lead cross-functional projects to improve product offering
Participating in client consultations to understand client needs and/or product opportunities
Requirements

Deep understanding of the use of ESG data in investments
Experience working specifically with ESG/ Sustainable investment products
Demonstrable experience in financial services and complex data systems
Business development and client servicing experience
Project management experience, organizational and time management skills
Experience in working with senior executives and non-executives i.e. CEOs, CIOs, Board members and Trustees
Collaboration: Ability to influence and work through others to get things done in a matrixed, multi-site organization; willingness to help colleagues; openness to take on new responsibilities
Quantitative fluency: High level of skill and comfort with numbers
Strong experience within investment management and portfolio construction across asset classes
Knowledge of product management processes and demonstrated ownership of a product through the development lifecycle
Experience in a client facing environment providing customer support, integration, and implementation services
