Assist with daily operation of the crisis units incorporating a living skills program whilst maintaining vigilance in personal safety and awareness, whilst offering the highest level of care and support.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
Provide practical support to crisis clients including provision of food and equipment for food preparation.
Respond to any emergency/crisis situations by accessing required internal or external support service.
Ensure that important client information is communicated with Unit Coordinators in regard to the circumstances and needs of clients.
Be able to work with minimal supervision
Requirements for Success
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
Experience in working in a residential setting.
Comprehensive understanding of the issues and needs of service users particularly homelessness.
Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
