Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a dynamic Security Officer to join our team at The Canterbury Hospital!

Are you Licenced according to the Security Industry Act 1997 – Class 1 A with current Senior First Aid Certificate?

Do you have knowledge or experience of Security Services with a Health Service?

The Security Department provides a 24-hour Security Service. The primary objectives of the Security Staff at Canterbury Hospital are to ensure the safety of staff, patients and visitors as well as the protection of hospital assets.

Security Staff have a duty of care of all patients, staff and visitors to the hospital and are required to participate in crime prevention, deterrence initiatives and risk minimisation strategies.

To be considered for this role you must have….

The ability to perform shift work on a 24 x7 rotating roster.
