What’s the opportunity?

As a Sales Ops Analyst at Vocus, you’ll partner with the sales community to provide day to day operational and commercial support across the customer lifecycle. In this role you’ll focus on supporting our Government and Special Projects Sales teams.

What you’ll be doing day to day:
Closely business partnering with Government Sales teams
Sales Order Entry and Validation to support billing and delivery accuracy
Commercial validation and support through pricing reviews
Raising and tracking purchase orders
3rd Party supplier cost management
Organising contract novations with legal team
Billing and Invoice tracking
Revenue interlock – monitoring the sales to cash cycle
Maintaining timesheets and coding for Special Projects against customer/project budgets
Be thinking about how we can improve our current sales ops processes
General support as required, including reporting, ad-hoc queries and audits

What you’ll need to be successful:
Strong understanding of Federal & State Government contracts, procurement process and customers.
Strong business partnering capabilities.
You’ll definitely have experience working with sales teams and ideally in telecommunications or another complex technology business.
A passion for problem solving and supporting sales teams to achieve great outcomes.
Strong understanding of business process and ability to drive process improvement.
Strong commercial and operational experience and disciplines.
Highest attention to detail, strong administrative acumen.
Excellent time management and ability to prioritise.
Ability to handle complex integrations across multiple commercial systems and teams.

Applications Knowledge:
You’ll definitely have experience working with Salesforce CRM. And although not a dealbreaker, Knowledge working with any of the following applications would be great: Pronto; Saturn; Clarizen; Project Management Systems; Order Management Systems; Specific internal Proprietary systems.
