We are seeking for an enthusiastic Research Associate (RA) to work on an ARC (Australian Research Council) funded project at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia. It is applicable to those who have excellent track record and wish to work on the cutting-edge research of verification and validation for autonomous driving systems.

The position will be on a full-time, fixed-term basis for one year at Academic Level A. The successful applicant will join a world-class software engineering research group and will have opportunity to interact closely with internationally respected researchers across intelligent transport, artificial intelligence (AI), and Internet of Things from various universities in Australia.

About you

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • A PhD in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent
  • Knowledge and research experience in software testing
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact and build networks with industry and other researchers, both local and international
  • Ability to work as part of a team, and build rapport with all levels of staff within a diverse work environment
