Title – Project Support Officer Position Number – 026933 Suburban Rail Loop is a city and state-shaping project that will transform Victoria’s public transport system, connecting Melbourne’s suburbs and creating opportunities in great places. The 90-kilometre Suburban Rail Loop will link every major rail line from the Frankston line to the Werribee line, via the airport, better connecting Victorians to jobs, retail, education, health services and each other. The project will trigger investment and renewal in the neighbourhoods associated with new stations. It will be constructed in stages across several decades, with Stage One (Cheltenham to Box Hill) delivering twin 27 km tunnels. This is a unique career opportunity to join a transformational city-shaping infrastructure project in its early stages and to help drive the best connectivity, liveability and productivity outcomes

About the opportunity

The Project Support Officer role will deliver high quality support and assistance to the Deputy Director, Initial & Early Works, and associated team. The position will be a key interface between stakeholders and provide project team support and administration in a range of areas including, report coordination, meeting arrangement, invoice receipting, records management, and presentation preparation. This role will require a high level of interaction with project team members and you will need to be responsive and flexible when working with others. To be successful in this position you will need to be a self-starter who can show a high level of initiative and independence in setting up processes which will enhance project effectiveness
