About the role
This temporary full-time position (End date April 2023) is responsible for working strategically within Council and with external partners to deliver a diverse and challenging program of projects from the City’s recently endorsed night time economy strategy (Parramatta Night City Framework 2020-2024). The scope of projects within this role will cover a broad set of portfolios, include strategic land use planning, project management, policy development, place-based activation strategy, community engagement, as well as advocacy and fostering strategic relationships with external partners.
About the person
The successful applicant may come from a wide range of backgrounds, however they will be enthusiastic, driven and proactive, with the ability to work well independently, efficiently and effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes. Applicants should hold a university degree with a planning, property development, strategic project management, policy or related discipline. This role will suit a person with a positive and proactive can-do attitude, who is creatively minded to achieve outcomes within Council and with external partners.
We are offering an attractive salary starting from $90,000 p.a. plus super, but is negotiable for the right candidate. City of Parramatta also offer excellent employee benefits, including working from home arrangements, which can be accessed by the successful candidate.
