Full Job Description
Parramatta is one of the fastest growing cities in Australia. As the Central River City, Parramatta is experiencing unprecedented public and private investment, boosting a vibrant economy. Local business growth is critical to the citys success. Council is seeking a passionate and motivated individual who can coordinate Councils local business support program as part of our Economic Development Team.

About the role

This permanent full-time position will primarily focus on:

  • Leading the planning and delivery of targeted economic development programs, including small business events and workshops;
  • Providing ongoing support to local businesses, especially those of small to medium scale;
  • Managing the development, writing and production of Councils business newsletter, targeting businesses and related stakeholders, and;
  • Collaborating across several Council teams, aligning Councils support for local businesses.

About the person
The successful applicant may come from a wide range of backgrounds, however they will be enthusiastic, driven and proactive, with the ability to work well independently, efficiently and effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes. This role will suit a person with a positive and can-do attitude.

What’s on offer
We are offering an attractive salary from $90,257.13 p.a. plus super. City of Parramatta also offer excellent employee benefits which can be accessed by the successful candidate.
