The P&C Advisor is responsible for delivering high quality, effective and timely P&C advice and case management support to internal customers. You will support the wider P&C Community by supporting the rollout of group wide P&C cyclical programmes and play a key part in the stewardship of P&C workflows, approvals, EBA & Award knowledge & interpretation and overall integrity of P&C Data across all systems. You will be keen to learn, a strong self-starter and have a strong focus to delivering outstanding customer service to promote the P&C function.
What you’ll do:
Deliver timely, accurate policy & entitlement advice and provide operational support in line with practice standards, supporting processes and agreed service level agreements
Actively participate in wider P&C projects to ensure successful delivery and aid completion of P&C processes and workflow, identifying process improvement and corrections
Maintain accurate employee records within, ‘Workday’ our HRIS system, including personal data and employee entitlements.
Ownership of employee classification and coverage for the purpose of accurate document generation including contracts of employment, Transfers, promotions and compensation changes
Ownership of Parental Leave process for EBA, Award and non-award staff
Right to Work, Visa and Background check case management and supporting management with outcomes
Ensure consistent level of customer service is delivered via agreed SLAs
Ownership of P&C Data and HRIS data integrity
Responding to employee and manager queries via service desk model, focused on first time resolution capturing query data and statistics to agreed SLAs
Maintaining and updating knowledge articles, policy updates and process documentation (SOPS)
Production of employment documentation including new hire contracts, job change letters and ad hoc requests
Oversee new employee onboarding process
Ad hoc training and induction of new managers and wider P&C team members
Who you are:
Previous experience within a P&C Shared Services function as an Advisor or Coordinator
EBA & Award interpretation experience Other requirements for this role: • HR Degree or equivalent
High level customer service skills
Excellent communications skills
Proficient in Microsoft packages
Workday HRIS experience is advantageous
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to understand, interpret and analyse data
The ability to work collaboratively and to develop strong, positive working relationships with P&C colleagues
Demonstrated capacity to maintain discretion and confidentiality
