The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) provides secondary and tertiary care to children and young people across the northern and western suburbs; specialist paediatric healthcare to the children of Victoria, Tasmania, southern NSW and parts of South Australia; and is the designated state-wide provider of services including paediatric trauma, rehabilitation and forensic medicine. Reporting to the Director of Payroll, this role will work closely with the People and Culture Group to manage compliance and governance requirements for the organisation, including oversight of key projects within payroll services. Working with the RCH’s internal systems you will be responsible for undertaking audits and ensuring operational excellence and compliance with relevant legislation for a range of services.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Meet and maintain standards of regulatory compliance for administrative payroll records and systems;
Oversight the efficient operation of the payroll help desk for RCH employee related queries;
Undertake audits of payroll processes and procedures in line with governmental requirements; Proven experience in the oversight and operational management of a payroll function, preferably in a public hospital setting utilising Chris21 and SAP
