Council is currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to assist the Law Enforcement & Parking team to manage its enforcement obligations. Does this sound like you?
As a Parking Patrol Officer with the City of Canada Bay Council you will be responsible for undertaking parking enforcement activities to meet community expectations. You will monitor, patrol and enforce any non-compliance with the legislative parking requirements in the area and educate the community on parking issues and safe parking.
Using your outstanding customer service and verbal and written communication skills you will also prepare evidence for court proceedings when required as well as provide assistance and general information to both Council staff and members of the community. The hours of operation will vary and will involve both weekday and weekend work.
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Parking Officer to gain exposure and experience in the Local Government sector.
Previous experience in parking enforcement activities, knowledge of relevant legislation and codes, and a working knowledge of the Self Enforcement and Infringement Notice Scheme (SEINS) are desirable to this position.
