Position Summary:
A vacancy exists in the above unit for a highly motivated Medical Records Clerk with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive team. Our progressive and innovative team offers development opportunities for our staff and a caring environment for the delivery of high quality patient centred care.

The successful applicant, administrative officer is responsible to participate in providing an efficient medical record service to St Vincent’s Public Hospital by retrieving medical records as required and tracking the movement of records around the hospital in our electronic tracking System (Corepas). To ensure the medical records are kept neatly in order, prepared correctly and available for patient attendances and/or clinicians providing care to patients. To work as part of a team providing assistance to all areas of Medical Records as required.

The vacancy is open to Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens who hold a valid New Zealand passport, Australian permanent residents and those non-residents deemed by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship to be eligible to work in Australia only.
