The Australian Venue Co. family are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Marketing Manager to join our internal marketing team!

The Marketing Manager will develop, establish, and maintain marketing and sales strategies to meet Australian Venue Co. organisational and venue sales objectives. Ensure effective coordination of a small team of marketing professionals. Support both the operations team and Venue Managers in the execution of marketing and sales strategies for all venues. Formulate and execute large scale marketing and advertising campaigns and delegate responsibilities amongst reports and team members.

What we need

Hospitality Marketing experience in Sydney
Good understanding of F&B
Minimum three years’ experience managing a team
Technical marketing and sales skills
Strong understanding of how social media works in the context of marketing and the ability to drive social media and digital marketing
Proven experience in customer and market research
Experience managing budgets and financial statements
Strong understanding of hospitality industry operations and marketing.
Tertiary qualifications in business or marketing, or equivalent professional qualification an asset.

A well rounded knowledge of hospitality and the hospitality industry
Relationships within the Australian Hospitality Industry
Creativity and innovation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent copy writing skills
Strong leadership skills
