The Marketing Manager should have an interest in data-driven storytelling and a solid design aesthetic, as well as an ability to understand and translate complex, technical concepts into simple, compelling narratives. The candidate will need to combine creative thinking with a hands-on, analytical approach to successfully execute and deliver high-impact and scalable ideas, engaging communications and experiences within set deadlines.
The ideal candidate will bring an entrepreneurial spirit, an eagerness to learn and lead, a strong curiosity, and be comfortable with ambiguity as OpenSlate evolves, grows and leads the industry in providing independent content measurement and targeting solutions for the world’s largest video platforms.
Support the development and execution of B2B marketing strategy to drive awareness, education and adoption of OpenSlate solutions and services
Help to create sales presentations and collateral designed to effectively define the positioning of OpenSlate’s products and services for advertisers and media companies
Manage and organize central marketing resources and collateral, continuously updating to reflect the latest product messaging, insights, and brand style guidelines
Assist in the creation and execution of engaging content and thought leadership for website, blog, social media, and email marketing channels
Partner with Sales and Client Success teams to identify and prioritize ongoing marketing needs and opportunities
Collaborate and drive alignment with sales, client services, product strategy, and partnership teams to launch new offerings and messages in market that resonate with new and existing clients
Develop and maintain library of OpenSlate success stories
3+ years of relevant or related working experience. Relevant experience includes brand, content, and/or sales marketing as well as media strategy. B2B marketing roles within a digital media and/or data company preferred.
Experience producing collateral and presentations as well as various types of content for website, blog, email, and/or social channels
Experience partnering with sales and product teams to deliver effective marketing materials and support
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Self-driven and motivated to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Track record of effective prioritization, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner
Demonstrated knack for translating complex, technical concepts into market-facing stories that are both simple and compelling
Solid experience in fostering seamless cross-functional working relationships in multilayered organizations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspaceand related creative/project management applications to drive best practices. Experience with PhotoShop or related design applications, MailChimp and WordPress is a plus.
