Chandler Macleod are excited to be working with our client who are leading global manufacturers of precision instruments and services for use in laboratories and manufacturing as we are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager.

This role is a fixed term 2 year contract (with the possibility of extension and/or permanency) to commence ASAP, working standard business hours based in the CBD (some flexibility with working from home) with a competitive Total Salary Package of 95,000K plus $15,000K performance incentive.

Job Objective:
Reporting to the General Manager, you are required to develop and manage marketing programs in specific channels, support business objectives, lead acquisition, foster customer retention, execute business development, provide sales support, and advance brand building.

  • To be successful in this role, you MUST have strong people management experience, be a good leader with a high emotional intelligence

Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to) :
Provide the planning and leadership to the Marketing Department by ensuring that the appropriate structures, systems, competencies and values are developed in order to meet and exceed the goal dos the Marketing plan
Assume overall responsibility for developing the annual marketing plan for the organisation; for strategic market planning; market research programs; field force activities, and control of the marketing budget
Prepare new product marketing plans for product introductions in cooperation with senior management colleagues
Establish a system of reports and communication for all information from the marketing team to the sales team and for the feedback and request from the sales team to the marketing team
Participate on relevant committees ensuring that the company has high level of professional standing
Develop on-going liaison with opinion leaders, to ensure that significant developments in the fields are identified and monitored

Qualifications and Experience
Marketing Degree or equivalent experience
Experience in managing in a B2B Marketing environment
Strong analytical experience and tactical marketing experience
Strong people management skills

Experience in the marketing channels of:
o Digital Marketing (SEM)
o Telemarketing (High end B2B)
o Cross- Selling strategies across Sales Divisions
o Digital Events (Webinar) marketing
