An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Mail Room Officer at a premium commercial asset within Melbourne’s CBD. The Applicants are required to have previous mail room and customer service experience.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Receive, unpack, verify, sort & accurately distribute to / collect from designated points
Prepare incoming & outgoing mail & courier consignments
Follow up all late or missing deliveries (Post or Courier)
Maintain records on daily mail room activities and report in line with reporting requirements for Document & Mail Services
Assist with regular building distributions, including Mail runs, adhoc deliveries etc
Checking all Offsite Storage & Mail room invoices are received
Previous mail services experience is required
Strong organisational & time management skills
Attention to detail
Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite
Keyboard skills – Sound data entry & typing speed
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Previous customer service experience
