$28.65 p / hr + 25% casual loading

Bordered on the North by Ku-ring-gai National Park and the South by Lane Cove National Park, this leafy municipality offers its library service from four branches based at Gordon, Lindfield, St Ives and Turramurra.
Council is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the role of Library Assistant.
As a Library Assistant you will provide support and assistance to the Branch Librarians and ensure the provision of consistent, high quality service delivery to the community.
Reporting to the Manager Library Services, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Pro-active customer service delivery
Enabling access to digital resources and facilities
Delivery of programs and events
Assisting with the general housekeeping and presentation of the library
Required experience & Skills:
Higher School Certificate or equivalent
Working with Children clearance number
This is a great opportunity for an individual who has experience in collaborative team work, strong conflict resolution skills, a friendly and approachable nature along with sound interpersonal and communication skills.
- As a part of the branch network team, this role will be required to work at any of our libraries as rostered. Casual shifts are required Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work *
