About The Library
Our Library team supports Monash Health by providing responsive and effective information services which are designed to ensure that staff can find information quickly and easily in the moment of need.
We provide learning, research and support to enable outstanding clinical care and research. Monash Health Libraries offer the full suite of resources, services and training expected at a major teaching hospital with prestigious research institutes.
You love what you do and you are passionate about the future of library services. You are experienced in collection management, customer service, online information services, web and mobile technologies. Your personal style enables you to build rapport, credibility and trust quickly and you are adept at managing competing demands in a busy environment.
You hold relevant qualifications and experience in special libraries, supported by strong technical expertise, and a track record of success delivering information to library patrons.
You have the ability to work at all Library sites, which include Monash Medical Centre, Dandenong Hospital, Casey Hospital, Moorabbin Hospital and Kingston Centre.
What you need:
An undergraduate or postgraduate degree studies in Librarianship, qualifying you for Associate membership of ALIA.
Library Management System (LMS) experience
Capability in Lib Guides and/or web editing platforms
