The Role

We are looking for a full-time, intermediate Legal Assistant to join our Sydney team. This role will be supporting our Wills and Estates and Corporate teams.

The role will be varied including the following key responsibilities:

Supporting the Partners in managing their practice;
Document drafting, amendment, management and dictation;
Proactive diary management and meeting coordination;
Management of monthly client reporting and billing;
Coordination of travel arrangement;
Legal Assistant support for general administrative tasks; and
Working with and providing assistance to other Legal Assistants.

Experience

You will be an Intermediate level Legal Assistant with at least three years’ experience in a professional firm. Experience in both front end and litigious teams would be highly advantageous. We are looking for someone who is flexible, highly motivated with excellent organisational skills, as well as a desire to provide superior support to their authors.

You must also demonstrate the following attributes:
Ability to exercise initiative;
Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external parties;
Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines;
Excellent attention to detail;
Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team; and
Excellent technical skills and understanding of software applications.
