We often seek to employ people with uplifting and warm personalities to work across our established aged care homes in Victoria. Housekeeping (Cleaning and Laundry) positions require people that are reliable, can work well in a team and brighten the day of older people.
Housekeeping staff will provide and maintain our homes with a high level of cleanliness and hygiene by following strict OHS requirements. You will take pride is making sure residents clothes are freshly laundered, ironed and placed away appropriately. You will ensure bedrooms, floors, dining and lounge areas are hygienically cleaned and areas are free of obstruction. You will need a warm and welcoming personality; your role is to get to know residents and chat to them as you work keeping in mind it is ‘their home’ and you will get to know their individual choices and wants. (Experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping is required and any qualification relevant to the role will be beneficial)
