This permanent fulltime position is responsible for the provision of arboricultural and landscaping advice to assist in the processing of Development Applications and the issuing of Tree Permits. On a daily basis you will:
Assess and negotiate arboricultural and landscaping solutions relating to the development process including recommending development consent conditions
Process tree Permit Applications
Investigate and represent Council in legal matters
Issue notices, orders and Penalty infringement notices
About the person
The successful candidate should have 2-3 years previous experience as a Landscape/Tree management officer in an organisation with similar diversity as the City of Parramatta. A applicants must have:
A Diploma in Arboriculture;
It would also be desirable if you have:
A Diploma or Degree in Horticulture, Landscape Design or in Landscape Architecture

We are offering an attractive salary range from $83,054 – $91,461 p.a. plus Super. City of Parramatta also offer excellent employee benefits which can be accessed by the successful candidate.
