Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity exists for enthusiastic Laboratory Assistants to join the team at Northern Pathology.

The role:
This role is responsible for the receiving, sorting, preparation and transport of specimens for analysis; assisting with the registration of pathology requests into the laboratory information system; performing laboratory investigations and general laboratory duties as directed by senior staff.

The positions are temporary, part time at 40 hours per fortnight. Rostered shifts will include morning, afternoon, overnight, weekend and public holiday shifts.

About you:
Certificate or Diploma in Laboratory Techniques or similar
Previous experience in a pathology laboratory would be an advantage
Good communication skills
