The HR Manager/Associate Manager will support the US sales field population, by providing guidance and support to employees for all HR related matters, including onboarding, talent management, driving employee engagement, collaborating and providing HR inputs to the Training Team to ensure executional excellence, acting as key business partner for all teams, and mitigating employee relations matters with the support of the HR Director, North America. The HR Manager/Associate Manager will work closely with the HR Director and other leaders of the to design and implement a culture that supports and reinforces the organization’s business plans & objectives through the development and effective implementation of a broad range of programs and processes.
Employee Relations & Labor Relations:
Support and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders: Office, Regional Directors, Account Executives, Field supervisors and retail employees.
Serve as first escalation point for staff, & management, related to employee services, benefits, and counseling.
With the guidance of HR Director, provide counsel, and support to retail employees with the handling of employee relations from intake to resolution, closure and documentation.
Develop, update, and maintain HR Policies and procedures as necessary, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice with HQ & local HR team.
Talent Acquisition & Management:
Involvement in all aspects of people management including Performance Management, Training, Talent Review / Development, Recruitment and Benefits for Office Regional Directors, Account Executives, Field supervisors and retail employees.
Support managers in designing an engaging induction plan for newcomers and act as enabler during all business phases.
Work with the Training & Retail to help identify and assess training/developmental needs, specific to store management and employees. Involved with stores training, new hire orientation and ongoing development in the areas of management and leadership.
Work with external vendor in case of any freelancers management needs
Stay abreast of external trends and research relevant to HR and talent management in Retail
Recommend and approve performance management action plans in partnership with the HR Director, NA.
Manage annual review process with field leaders and in partnership with HR Director, NA.
Administer termination processes for line level staff, including conducting and analyzing exit interviews and coordinating with all departments to ensure proper termination for all exiting employees, always involving HR Director, NA.
Support company-wide global HR initiatives and communicate to field, adapting to their environment and schedules.
Monitoring and partnering (alongside HR Director & Finance) to ensure adherence to budget commitments in so far as open roles
Project lead for all HR projects
Create and support proactive employee engagement programs that will ensure retention & a positive working environment.
Proactively identify engagement opportunities in enhance the work environment (scheduling, advocacy concerns, and industry trends).
Monitor turnover and develop strategies to maintain/enhance morale/engagement.
Partner with HR Manager, NA & shared Payroll & Benefits team to ensure proper communication of all payroll & benefits administration, changes, timekeeping and accuracy for the field population.
Handle all monthly/quarterly or annual incentives, bonuses, and other compensation pay outs for field.
Assist in overseeing and monitoring the annual performance reviews (inclusive of annual merit & STIP) to ensure timely communication & payments.
Workers Compensation Management through proper policies, incident reports, claims processing and payments.
4-5 years of professional experience in HR, Retail experience is a must.
Solid talent attraction & recruitment experience.
Relevant knowledge of HR processes, and US labor laws.
