About the Role
In this role you will be providing and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness to all areas of the Hospital as directed in line with infection control guidelines whilst delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. This can range from general cleaning of the hospital surfaces and environment to the individual turn-down of patient rooms.
You will be responsible for ensuring a clean environment is maintained within patient rooms and common areas. You will report to the Environmental Services Manager and work closely with a diverse team.
Duties include but not limited to:
Ensuring a clean environment is maintained (patient rooms and common areas)
Daily completion of Cleaning Checklist
Carpet extraction and scrubbing of Floors
Delivery & collection of hospital linen and waste
Liaising with Team Leaders and Ward Staff
Use of Chemicals
To succeed in this role, you will ideally bring experience in a similar role within an Aged Care or Hospital environment. To be considered for this role you will need to be available for a range of shifts covering a 7-day roster.

Use of industrial floor polisher/scrubber
Use of heavy lifters for the transport of bulk linen and waste
Current or recent experience in hotel – housekeeping
Certificate III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations)
$23.73 – $24.79 per hour + penalties + casual loading (casual position only) + superannuation
