Overview

The City of Parramatta City Council is home to places of Aboriginal significance and has some of the oldest Heritage buildings in Australia. As such, we are seeking to appoint a highly capable Heritage Advisor who is interested in working within a motivated and dedicated Technical Specialist team in the Development and Assessment Service environment.

Your main responsibilities will include the provision of specialist heritage conservation advice and guidance and you will need to have extensive experience in the assessment of heritage conservation aspects as they relate to development assessment. You will also have strong capabilities and experience in the management of large and complex development applications within an urbanized and CBD environment, and the ability to operate effectively in a political environment.

What’s on Offer:
We are offering a permanent part-time role (consisting of 21 hours per week over 3 days). An attractive salary from $ 111,970 p.a. pro rata plus Super is being offered. City of Parramatta also offer excellent employee benefits which can be accessed by the successful candidate.
