About the role:
We are looking for experienced and motivated Food Services Assistants to join our Hotel Services team to provide our residents with memorable dining experiences to enhance their daily lives. Organised and keen to provide a high level of service, you appreciate and respond to resident needs by listening and communicating well, escalating any concerns as needed, whilst ensuring resident privacy and dignity is always maintained.
The role involves:
Preparation, presentation and delivery of food and beverages in accordance with the Food Safety Program
Washing dishes and cleaning according to the Food Safety Program
Adhering to and assisting with general Food Safety compliance activities
Contributing to menu planning to meet resident’s individual needs and preferences.

This is the place for you if you have:
Completion of a Basic Food Handlers Certificate
An understanding of resident’s rights, OH&S and the Food Safety Act
Experience in Food Services in Aged Care / Health
Are known for your caring and compassionate nature
Initiative and ability to work effectively without supervision
Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions
Committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the BEST way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust)
Are willing to work within the ethos of the Uniting Church
You will need:
A current Working With Children’s Check
Full Australian working rights
A current Police Records Check or be willing to undertake this process
A current flu vaccination and be prepared to meet this annual requirement
