An exciting opportunity currently exists to join the Medical Portfolio of HETI in an ongoing capacity.

Where you’ll be working

The Health Education and Training Institute (HETI) works with health partners to develop contemporary and responsive health education and training to enable a world-class workforce. The role is based at 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards – a brand new, purpose-built campus that is well serviced by public transport. The building offers activity-based working with agile and flexible workspaces and the latest in technology, modern end-of-trip facilities, secure bicycle storage and lockers. There is an onsite cafe as well as plans for a 100-space childcare centre.

What you’ll be doing

In this role you will provide comprehensive high-level executive support in a diverse and complex role. This is a key pivotal role within the portfolio, providing a point of contact, coordination and support for the office of the Medical Director through effective diary management and scheduling.

Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent, and demonstrated, relevant professional experience.
High-level oral and written communication, interpersonal and consultation skills with the ability to prepare complex documents, reports, briefing papers while maintaining confidentiality.
High level organisational skills, including the ability to successfully manage competing issues and priorities, work within a political environment and meet deadlines.
Ability to provide Secretariat Duties, prepare agendas and minutes, issue meeting papers within required timeframes and monitor actions.
Understanding of project management methodologies and demonstrated experience in project coordination including developing and administering project plans.
Able to demonstrate a strong customer focus, commitment and strong problem solving, analytical and evaluation skills.
Able to work collaboratively as an effective member of a team in a dynamic and high-volume work environment.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications, Business Applications and Tools including records management systems with an aptitude to learn new systems
