Exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to support a key Group Executive with a growing portfolio.
Your core activities will include the efficient and effective coordination of the office function including forward planning, administration and relationship management across internal colleagues and external business partners. You bring a thoughtful and personable approach to contact for wide ranging stakeholders including customers, Government, media and industry bodies partnering with the Westpac Group. You will act as a central point of contact for the team, providing clarity and support to senior management and their wider teams.
What do I need?
Firstly, you will have previous experience working in a comparable role supporting Senior Executives within Financial Services, Consulting or Professional Services. You will have a proven track record of working within an environment that embraces a strong customer and change focus. You will have exceptional email and calendar management skills, being able to forward plan, prioritise and communicate to ensure the smooth running of meetings/conferences. You will be adept at working across documents, presentations and systems to ensure seamless delivery with a high level of attention to detail.
You will also be able to demonstrate:
Strong organisational, problem solving and communication skills with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Ability to effectively handle, escalate and follow up internal customer compliments, issues and complaints
Strong administrative skills including managing travel and business expenses for the Leadership team
Advanced MS Office – Word, PowerPoint , Excel skills
Experience working with Sharepoint and other collaborative technologies.
Ideally you will have knowledge of Westpac systems, policies, and processes
