We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant who whilst working directly for one of our Executive team, is the type of person that will roll their sleeves up and get things done. You will be commercial and take an active interest in the business, providing all administrative support to our Chief Commercial Officer for the Group Life and Investments business unit.
What will you be responsible for?
Managing phone calls and incoming emails/correspondence, redirecting questions and issues where appropriate and/or drafting acknowledgement or responses to email and letters
Managing diary, including scheduling meetings, prioritising conflicting needs and ensuring time is appropriately available for critical meetings and issues
Working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and GMs to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments, following up as appropriate
Ensuring the Chief Commercial Officer have relevant and appropriate documentation in advance of meetings and events
Reviewing and editing reports, presentations etc. as required
Developing content for communications either internally or externally at the direction of the Chief Commercial Officer
Ensuring requests/action items for the Chief Commercial Officer, GMs and/or Board are proactively followed up and resolved in a timely manner
Coordinating 1:1, coaching sessions and performance reviews for all direct reports, and ensuring relevant paperwork is submitted on time
Planning and organising team meetings, events and communications
Arranging domestic and international travel plans and itineraries
Managing ad hoc requests and/or projects from the Chief Commercial Officer and GM leadership team as required
Reporting and expense management
Providing ad hoc support to customer and brand team and actively drive engagement and effectiveness
Communicating directly, and on behalf of the Chief Commercial Officer, with the Executive Team and their respective EAs on a range of matters
Pro-actively establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with the Executive Team and Executive Assistant.

What are we looking for?
A minimum 5-8 years’ experience operating at the Executive Assistant level
Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to communicate with the highest levels of tact and diplomacy
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and to demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism at all times
The ability to effectively work across all levels of the organisation and to work closely and effectively Executive Assistants
Excellent writing skills
Your ability to demonstrate a high degree of initiative
Strong organisational skills demonstrated by the ability to work autonomously, effectively prioritise and perform multiple tasks seamlessly, and with excellent attention to detail
Advanced level of skill using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
