Permanent part-time position (hours negotiable)

Located at our new Hospital in Werribee

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne (SVPHM) is a facility of St Vincent’s Health Australia under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries. We are a not for profit Catholic private hospital which operates across four sites at Fitzroy, East Melbourne, Kew and Werribee.

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Executive Assistant to join our team on a permanent part – time basis , either 3 full days a week or school hours across 5 days a week. Working from our Werribee Hospital, to support our Werribee General Manager/Director of Clinical Services (GM/DOCS) and senior management team.

Responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to);

Administrative, secretarial and assistance to the Werribee GM/DOCS

Liaise with the Nurse Unit Managers, Executive Members and other departments (both internal & external)

Prepare agendas, type and distribute minutes and coordinate meetings on behalf of the Werribee GM/DOCS

General EA Support – professional secretarial and general support services

The successful candidate will have;

Experience in the Health Care Sector

Demonstrated experience in providing a high quality standard of efficient and confidential secretarial and administrative support to senior executives

Proven ability to work autonomously, using a high level of initiatives and exercising self-motivation to understand and resolve issues

MS Office proficiency
