Our Property Team

Our award winning Property team advises major property investors and developers on all facets of commercial, retail and residential property matters. Some long-standing clients include AMP Capital Investors, GPT, Brookfield, Charter Hall, Dexus, Lendlease, Vicinity, Challenger and Mirvac.

Your role

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant with a desire to provide a high level of administrative support to a busy and successful team. In this position, you will be an integral part of the leasing team and work closely with and provide a full range of legal secretarial support to a team of lawyers, working alongside other Executive Assistants, in a collegiate and supportive team environment.

There is also an element of paralegal work involved for the right candidate.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
document preparation (including the use of precedents) and amendments
input data into our leasing database
conduct property searches
arrange general and trust account receipting and cheques
proactive diary management and coordination of travel arrangements
file management including opening and closing files, electronic and physical filing
end of month billing and reporting and reconciliation of expenses
other general administrative tasks and support as required

What you need

To be successful in this role, you will need strong organisational skills as well as a high level of initiative and enthusiasm. In addition to this, you will possess the following experience / attributes:

a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in a professional services environment
strong understanding of software applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, practice management and other technology systems
ability to manage conflicting priorities and keep on top of deadlines
excellent communication and teamwork skills
self-motivated with a high level of initiative and the ability to work autonomously
