Role Description/Criteria

ABOUT THE POSITION

Suitably qualified applicants are invited to apply for the full time, ongoing position of Executive Assistant, located at our East Melbourne office. Reporting to the Director, Learning & Regional Services, this position provides critical administrative support, diary management, committee minute taking and office management.

Salary for this position is in accordance with the Victoria Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement (VCEMEA) 2018 (Clerical Employee level 3/2 to level 3/5 – $74,333 to $79,688 per annum). Superannuation contribution in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee Legislation is in addition to this salary payment.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL

The successful applicant will have previous experience in an Executive level administrative role with the ability to plan, multitask and work to deadlines with high attention to detail and a positive attitude.

As an Executive Assistant working with highly confidential information, you will display an exceptional level of discretion, independent judgement and professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues and documentation. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and a high degree of professionalism in dealing with external and internal stakeholders is an essential element of the role.

The successful applicant will also be subject to a Working with Children Check and a National Police Record Check. Applicants must hold full unrestricted working rights for Australia to be considered for this role.
