How will I help?

As a Desktop Technician, you will join the IMAC (Installs, Moves, Adds, Changes) team within Group Technology responsible for managing IT asset requests for the business throughout their lifecycle, including the fulfillment of New Starter hardware, work-from-home hardware, refresh of devices, and decommissioning requests.

The successful candidate will be involved in the following responsibilities:

Manages and supports the review and validation of service requests to ensure required information has been provided, necessary approvals have been sought and that all requests are appropriately recorded.
Fulfills IMAC requests within SLA’s, taking customer needs into consideration, collaborating with partners, vendors, and third-party suppliers to evaluate and prioritise the requirements to fulfill requests.
Provides technical support for the implementation of changes and resolution of incidents where required. Liaises with relevant stakeholders to ensure incidents are resolved within appropriate timeframes and responds promptly to escalations.
Assists the Operations Infrastructure Manager and other team members as needed with analysis and reporting of fleet data, request volumes, project deliverables and SLA achievement.
Assists with active device lifecycle management including EOL device refresh and other special projects.

What do I need?

2-3 years’ experience in an IT role
Customer service experience
Hardware Asset Management experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Tertiary qualifications in IT or related discipline, or equivalent experience
