The Active Monash Leisure Centres are highly regarded throughout the Aquatic and Recreation Industry, attracting over 1.5 million attendances per annum. Active Monash fosters a culture of professionalism, innovation and positive engagement.
About the Role:
The Customer Service Officer acts as the first point of contact for all patrons entering our facilities. The team is passionate about creating a fun and friendly atmosphere and building genuine relationships with our members, guests and each other. They work with confidence to achieve positive customer experiences, strive to individualise each interaction and make decisions to ensure positive customer experiences.
The Customer Service Officers work across our three recreation facilities; Monash Aquatic & Recreation Centre (MARC), Clayton Aquatics and Health Club (CAHC) and Oakleigh Recreation Centre (ORC).
The successful candidate will have
You will work collaboratively with a passionate team and exceed customer’s expectations by providing excellent customer service.
Have a passion for health and fitness, assisting people by providing them with information about our programs and services.
With well developed communications skills, with the ability to build rapport and relationships with a diverse range of people.
Successful candidates will have experience working in a reception/ retail environment and experience in sales and handling cash. The ability to work a variety of day, night and weekend shifts across our three facilities in Glen Waverley, Okleigh and Clayton is also required.

Additional requirement (if applicable):
Applicant must hold a Current CPR, Senior First Aid and WWC Check
Successful applicant will be required to complete a Police Check
