The Role

We currently have an exciting flexible part-time opportunity for a motivated and sales-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Experience Host at our Pitt Street store. This role is a minimum of 20 hours per week, however we are looking for someone who can work additional hours on a regular basis. The purpose of this role is to deliver unbelievable customer experiences within the Concept Store environment, through positive interactions, exploring customer needs and matching these needs to products and services that suit each customers’ unique situation.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily duties will include:
Meeting and greeting customers at our innovative concept store
Evaluating and exploring customer needs and providing relevant information, support, and directing the customer to the appropriate person
Ensuring every customer has a memorable experience in store
Facilitation, education and support of customers in the use of self service and digital financial service opportunities for Suncorp products
Educating customers on specific products best suited to them
Proactively identifying opportunities for Suncorp products

Training

Full time training is provided for 6 weeks (4 weeks in your local capital city, 2 weeks in your store).

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

Experience in roles requiring growth and retention of a customer base such as retail or a sales & service related industry or experience in financial services
A high level of enthusiasm and drive
A genuine interest in career progression
An excellent eye for detail
The ability to provide quality customer service and develop relationships
Well-developed communication skills both written and spoken
