About the Role
This role is located in the Emergency department and you will work as part of the Outpatient Bookings Unit and support the Switchboard, concierge and back of house functions. This role supports patients throughout their journey through the emergency department providing patient support, administrative functions including registration, appointment bookings and data entry. The successful applicant will have a high customer focus and be able to work efficiently within a busy and dynamic environment. The role requires you to be flexible and work between the emergency department, concierge and switchboard functions as required.
The emergency department administration functions from 0700 to 0200 7 day a week. This is a permanent part time position working 8 days per fortnight from Thursday to Sunday. Times rotate between commencing at 7.00,8.00 or 9.00am.
