Overview

The Capital Management and Stress Testing team is charged with ensuring our US subsidiaries are sufficiently capitalized to support business strategy and objectives consistent with our risk appetite and regulatory expectations. You’ll be working on high-profile projects to help the Firm better manage risk and efficiently deploy capital resources across the Bank. The primary focus of the role is to conduct on-going assessments of the Firm’s capital base, line of business balance sheet limits and capital allocations, and contribute to the execution of our year-round capital planning process. Your Key Responsibilities:
Prepare commercially useful analysis that helps senior management better manage risk, improve profitability, and efficiently deploy capital resources across the Firm

Help steer capital deployment through the execution of quarterly capital target setting, balance sheet limit setting, and equity capital allocation

Perform on-going monitoring, reporting, and escalation of capital positions and balance sheet exposures

Multiple opportunities for ad-hoc projects with exposure to senior and executive management

Your Skills and Experience:
Educated to Bachelor’s degree level

Highly motivated with the ability to take initiative and demonstrate the utmost level of integrity and transparency in all that you do – effective teamwork and communication is key

Strives working in a team, leveraging the input and experience across Treasury, Finance, and Risk divisions to make balanced decisions

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate nuanced or complex financial analysis into straight-forward recommendations for senior stakeholders through verbal / written communication and design of visual analysis

Basic knowledge of foundational finance and accounting concepts
