The Company

Our client is a specialist family violence service located in Melbourne’s Southern Region. They are a small, growing company looking for an enthusiastic administrator to join their already established and stable team. The Opportunity

Our client is now seeking a Business Administrator to join their company in the Kingston Council area, VIC.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role provides support to the Board and Executive Officer including managing schedules and organising the collation and distribution of documents for Board meetings. It will also provide administrative support to the EO and general office administration support for the team.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
General office administration duties including managing inboxes, calendars and schedules
Be the first point of contact for maintenance, mailing, shopping, supplies, equipment, bills etc
Provide timely, accurate and well-presented reports and documents
HR duties including recruitment and on-boarding of staff
Support the Operations Manager with training programs
Assist with fundraising strategies
Quality and risk system management

About You

The successful candidate will have experience with:
Supporting executives such as Board Members and EOs in a fast-paced office environment
Working in a Not for Profit and any experience in Family Violence organisations would be beneficial
Maintaining multiple calendars, compiling Board reports and meeting deadlines
Project management and an understanding of quality assurance and maintaining systems and documentation to support accreditation
Supporting fundraising strategies and writing grants submissions

You must also have:
Good problem-solving skills and ability to negotiate where needed
Strong time-management skills with competing priorities and excellent multi-tasking skills
Professional communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate
Strong computer skills with the ability to use MS Office Suite to create accurate emails and reports

Essential Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or related area
Current Drivers Licence
Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
