About this role
The Branch Administrative assistant provides a comprehensive range of high-level administrative support functions to the Evidence and Evaluation unit within the Centre for Epidemiology & Evidence to support the timely delivery of business initiatives to a high quality and standard.

Where you’ll be working
The Centre for Epidemiology and Evidence is located within the Population and Public Health Division of the NSW Ministry of Health. The Centre drives NSW Health’s population health research agenda, by building the evidence base, translating evidence into policy and practice, and manage training programs that build capability of the population health workforce; produces relevant and timely epidemiological reports of high quality; provides highly technical statistical analysis and interpretation of complex data; develops innovative systems for data collection, analysis and reporting; and encourages and promotes excellence through rigour, creativity and pragmatism. What you’ll be doing
The Branch Administrative assistant will deliver a comprehensive range of administrative and human resource support functions; including diary and meeting management; event co-ordination; managing databases; secretariat support; recruitment, leave and travel administration; document production; improving administrative processes and systems; finance administration; and distribution and maintenance of office equipment.
