Summary
La Bon Bake Shoppes is seeking a baker with knowledge of pastry and bread production. We are looking for an individual with a passion for the baking industry who is willing to grow with the company. Duties
- Knowledge of mixing and preparing doughs for assorted breads, pastries and baked goods
- Experience baking and finishing breads, pastries and other assorted baked goods
- Ability to produce quantities based on a production list or par level
- Ability to separate finished products in specific quantities to be sent to our other retail locations
- Maintain clean and organized work environment

Requirements
- Experience in production and baking of typical breads and doughs
- Understanding of mixing, make-up, and baking of traditional bread, pastry and other baked goods
- Knowledge of traditional bakery fillings
- Ability to plan and organize production and manage time
- Self-motivated with ability to manage volume production without sacrificing quality
- Good attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Must be in good physical health
- Standing for long periods of time (8 hours +)
- Lifting Involved – (Dough, bakery ingredients up to 50lbs.)
- Working hours are approximately 6pm-2am Wed-Sun (additional days/hours required around holidays)
Nice To Haves
- A pastry arts/culinary degree are not necessary but helpful
