Full Job Description
Purpose of the Role:
The US Leadership and Talent Development Lead at Firstsource is a critical role transcending across all business units in the US and is responsible for translating business strategy into a learning strategy that would enable hyper-performance through a continuous learning culture.

Primary skills –Senior Stakeholder Management, Ability to network, widen reach, & create sustained relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders, handling learning requirements for BUs independently; senior leader facilitation experience; excellent communication skills with a global audience; client facing skills, excellent presentation skills, ability to lead teams, background in L&D architecture & methodology, a mature and refined outlook with the ability to deal with senior stakeholders globally
Secondary Skills – Content Design/Instructional Design, LMS experience

Roles & Responsibilities:
Strategic:
Leverage enterprise-wide learning philosophy and strategy to align learning to US businesses that embeds continuous learning into our culture
Implement the learning strategy that would enable attraction, engagement, development and retention of talent
Direct development of traditional and non-traditional learning offerings that support a global, decentralized, multi-generational workforce.
Leverage technology to support learning for diverse workforce to make learning real time, relevant and accessible
Bridge identified organization competency gaps (technical and functional) through customized learning interventions
Provide strategic insights to the leadership team through data-driven research/analytics on learning needs, impact and outcomes
Enable top talent development to ensure succession planning for critical roles
Collaborate with Business Unit (BU) Heads and HR business partners in driving the learning agenda across the US organization
Lead and manage a specialist team of learning consultants in the development and delivery of learning interventions

Operational:
Manage all aspects of planning, budgeting, metrics and reporting related to LMD initiatives in the US
Oversee timely and effective execution of end-to-end learning cycle – need identification, content design, implementation, reporting and outcomes
Utilize learning metrics in the analysis of learning effectiveness. Baseline and improve the ROI of training by linking it to organization outcomes
Align the learning interventions to enable following outcomes- Individual development through role based learning curriculum and top talent development
Review design of new content and ensure existing content is relevant
Network with industry / relevant learning forums and stay abreast of best practices in L&D
Vendor management & Management of existing relationships

Ability to elevate Talent Development within the organization to position and serve our clients as the org wide leadership and development pillar

Reporting Structure:
The US Talent Development Lead reports to the Global Head of Talent Development for all organization wide learning initiatives with matrix reporting to the Head of HR in the US
Shared goals with HR Business Partners and Operations team for key learning initiatives
Work closely with Talent Management and Performance Management teams to integrate outcomes from these processes into the learning framework

Qualifications

Success profile

Experience

Critical:

  • Graduate or Post graduate degree in HR (or equivalent) from a reputed school / university
  • 8+ years of experience in Talent Development roles
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing learning strategies and plans for a global and diverse workforce

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in BPO sector
  • Experience in other areas of OD/Talent Development such as Instructional Design, E-Learning design, technology platforms
  • Certifications on psychometric tools (MBTI, FIRO-B etc.,), ‘Train the Trainer’, ISABS, L&D certifications, Coaching etc.,

Know-How

Critical:

  • Thorough knowledge of learning frameworks, models, best practices& translating them into actionable strategy
  • Knowledge of designing and delivering learning solutions
  • Facilitation skills for senior audiences

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of mobile learning, micro learning, gamification, tech savvy

Instructional Design Certification (SCORM, Captivate, Articulate platforms)
PMP Certified (Project Management Professional)
Additional L&D certifications if any.
