About the role
We are offering and exciting opportunity to join the Procedure Office team in an ongoing, part time role. The Procedure Office provides administrative and research support to the Chamber and senior officers within the Department and is the principal office responsible for answering inquiries from the Department’s customers.
Your key responsibilities will include preparing documents for Assembly sittings, responding to phone and email inquiries, and providing administrative support to the Procedure Office. Your work days will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. You will be required to be on duty on a rostered basis when the Legislative Assembly is sitting, including working to the end of the sitting (approximately 8.00 pm) at least once during a sitting week.
About you
To succeed in the role, you will have excellent attention to detail and be able to produce complex documents with a high degree of accuracy and within tight deadlines. You will be an effective communicator, with strong customer service skills and a proven ability to work as a team member in a high-pressure environment. Your time management and organisational skills will be a strength.
