As the Administrative Officer you will support the centre by providing efficient administrative services to support the end-to-end delivery of education products as well as executive support for the Director. The Administrative Officer will work with a fun and creative team of Research Fellows and Educators and assist BWA clients and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of education programs.
This is a diverse and challenging role that involves diary management, support for committees and working groups, scheduling meetings, and undertaking a wide range of administrative duties, including (but not limited to): record management, monitoring and responding to education enquiries, preparation of proposals, event and workshop coordination, administering student feedback surveys, coordinating and providing executive support to working groups, meeting/workshop coordination, diary and travel management and financial services, including budgeting, invoicing and expense management.
To be successful in this role, you will be comfortable using a wide range of finance, customer relationship management and computer programs. You will have strong attention to detail, well-developed written and verbal communication skills, a ‘can-do’ attitude and an ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders. The role has plenty of variety and scope to advance your career within the university sector. Experience working in an education environment would be an advantage.
This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
