Our Bookings and Admissions Team have several vacancies for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to work alongside our team of Administration staff in supporting the hospital’s Admissions and Reception.

We have Full-time, Part-time and Casual roles available.

As an Administration Officer your responsibilities will include:

Perform a broad range of administration duties
Management of main reception desk
Switchboard management
Efficient and accurate management of patient bookings, admissions and discharges
Conduct follow up requests and make reminder calls for patient visits
Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including input into the WebPAS patient information system
Perform Health Fund Checks as required
Manage the collection of excesses/co payments
Coordinate with staff from other departments
Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry

Selection Criteria:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
Flexible to work a variety of shifts – early/late shifts & weekend work
WebPas or patient administration system experience desirable
Compliance with Vaccination requirements of NSW Health Policy PD:2020_017 Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination against specified Infectious Diseases as a Category A Healthcare Worker. Refer to pages 36 & 37 of policy: https://www1.health.nsw.gov.au/pds/ActivePDSDocuments/PD2020_017.pdf
