Department/Unit Specific Overview:
The Women’s Newborn Research Centre’s mission is to give all babies the best chance of growing into healthy adults. Our biggest challenge lies with the tiniest babies, those weighing less than one kilogram and more than three months premature. In addition to the possibility that these babies may not make it home, those that survive face significantly increased risks. The motto of the Women’s Newborn Research Centre is “Making the babies better”. To do this, our department tries to give all babies, irrespective of their size and maturity at birth the best chance of growing into healthy adults.

Position Purpose:
To provide confidential administrative assistance to the Professor/Director of Neonatal Medicine, the Deputy Director, and to the Newborn Research Team.

To co-ordinate and manage the Neonatal Research Office

To organise and co-ordinate neonatal seminars and meetings

To be successful within this role, you will need to have:
Extensive administrative experience

Experience in setting up seminars and meetings (onsite and virtual)
