Full Job Description
This large community service organisation, provides emergency support to the NSW community and is part of the NSW State Government. On offer is a 12 month contract as an Administration Assistant to support a Legal team. This role will commence ASAP and is based in Olympic Park.

About the role:
As the Administration Assistant, you will be required to support the Legal Manager and team by providing high quality administration support. As part of your day to day duties, you will be required to:

Use your knowledge of Legal Administration to provide administrative support to the team
Monitor and action any items that come into the team inbox
Prepare and send basic correspondence and documentation including with the use of templates, including in relation to ministerial/parliamentary matters
Organise payment of invoices, and collect and distribute mail
Liaise with other teams where required to ensure the Legal team’s administrative requirements are met
Liaise with external stakeholders including Ministers offices, and Departments as required
Use relevant computerised records management system to create, store, retrieve and archive files to ensure the accurate and safe storage of information

About you:
The Administration Assistant will be experienced in providing high level support to teams. It would be preferable to have government experience and/or exposure to Legal administration. You’ll also be required to possess:

Demonstrated experience within an Administrative Support role within the public sector and/or Legal sector
Ability to work with multiple priorities and deadlines within a changing environment
Positive outlook and a willingness to adapt to change within the workplace
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to commence ASAP and commit to a 12 month contract
