About the role

The Accounts Receivable Officer works within the Finance team to ensure the timely and accurate invoicing and collection of fees inline with VMCH policies and procedures.

Raise and issue invoices ensuring compliance to timelines, accuracy and data integrity
Resolve billing issues, and prevent recurrence by establishing robust and efficient processes
Respond to queries in a timely manner
Proactively manage debt, ensuring minimal debtors balance over 60 days
Maintain accurate documentation of interactions with customers throughout the debt management process

Skills & experience

Previous experience in a similar position
Proficient with MS Excel, Word and Outlook
An understanding of basic accounting entries and ability to perform reconciliations
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation, both written and verbal
An organised and methodical approach to systems and documentation
High level ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
